The house is not accessible by car, but there is a garage Palazzo Vecchio just 2 minutes walk away or the taxi can drop you off in Piazza Saltarelli 50 mars from the main entrance.
You can't be more central than this, since you get out and in few steps you are in Piazza Signoria, Galleria degli Uffizi, Ponte Vecchio, Palazzo Pitti and Boboli Gardens. You will be surrounded by renaissance beauty, bars, cafes, restaurants, shops and tiny artisan shops. In the same square you will find Gucci museums and restaurant, few minutes away the Tornabuoni street with designer shops including Ferragamo where on the first floor you can visit their shoe museum. Behind Piazza Signoria going toward Santa Croce church you will find Franco Zeffirelli foundation where his major works are exposed.
